In preparation for the 2026 Ice Season, SmartICE is looking to hire Community Operators to help with monitoring the sea-ice in Nain, Nunatsiavut. As a Community Operator, you will take part in training to learn how to use and maintain SmartICE’s SmartKAMUTIK and SmartBUOY sensors. You will also upload the data you collect to the SIKU platform to share with your community.

Training Dates: To be confirmed (dependent on ice conditions) – early 2026
