Position Overview
Shape agricultural communications with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture as a Communications Coordinator in Guelph. This on-site role involves drafting content, managing media relations, and fostering stakeholder connections.
As an 18-month contract team member, you will work collaboratively with the Director of Communications to enhance OFA's brand identity. Your responsibilities will include managing press releases, developing strategic communication plans, and creating engaging digital content. This role demands strong relationships, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft news releases and content for newsletters
• Manage digital platforms and social media posts
• Liaise with media and government stakeholders
• Edit and format official documents and presentations
• Coordinate communications for webinars and events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
