**Summary** :
This position supports UNC Health’s participation in the North Carolina Rural Organizations Orchestrating Transformation for Sustainability (ROOTS) Hub as part of the State’s Rural Health Transformation Program. UNC Health has been selected by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) to serve as the NC ROOTS Region 4 Hub Lead, collaborating with community organizations, healthcare providers, and regional partners to improve the health and well-being of rural populations across Region 4 and throughout North Carolina. This role contributes to initiatives that strengthen rural health infrastructure, advance community partnerships, improve access to care, and support sustainable solutions that address the unique needs of rural communities.
