Position Overview
As a Commodity Management Intern, you will dive into the heart of our supply chain, focusing on the electronic components that power our latest consumer devices. You will support the Global Procurement team in managing high-volume commodities (like semiconductors, displays, or batteries), analyzing market volatility, and ensuring our products hit the shelves on time and on budget.
About the role - you will:
Market Analysis: Track global price trends and lead times for key electronic components (MLCCs, Memory, Chipsets) to help predict supply shifts.Cost Management: Assist in maintaining Should-Cost models and tracking Purchase Price Variance (PPV) to protect product margins.Supplier Relations: Support the quarterly business review (QBR) process by gathering performance data on quality, delivery, and cost.Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor End-of-Life (EOL) notifications to ensure we have e...
