Summary

This position will manage a team responsible for the sourcing, qualification and day‑to‑day management of all parts and suppliers in the Capital equipment segment of Celestica. The team has overall ownership of all supplier relationships including terms & conditions, pricing, contracts, etc.

Detailed Description

• Manages a group of commodity management; oversees pricing, terms and conditions, supplier capacity and on‑time delivery.
• Manages a team of Supplier Development Engineering; sources, develops, and qualifies new suppliers, enhances capabilities at existing suppliers, and drives cost reduction activities.
• Leads quarterly price negotiations for core commodities in the segment.
• Establishes corporate targets and provides direction to managers in global pricing, terms and conditions, supplier programs, and performance monitoring.
