Position Overview

  Commercial Head of Legal with background in Data Centres/Real Estate - In House 
 We're looking for an interim Head of Legal to support our client for 9 - 12 months. Prior experience managing a legal team with a background in data centres, real estate or industrial/manufacturing is key.
 This will be a maternity cover, starting as soon as possible. Your role will include:
 Overseeing the legal function across the EMEA region independently
 Acting as Head of Legal to support new data centre construction projects working alongside a senior construction lawyer
 Working on general commercial matters
 Supporting land acquisition projects and negotiation of land purchase agreements
 Facility management service contracts
 Supporting in-house paralegal and delegating work
 Managing external legal spend
