General Surgery Colorectal Fellow

Full-time 1.0 FTE.

With more than 640,000 people living in Te Whatua Ora, Waitematā District, this region has the largest and second fastest growing population among all districts in New Zealand.

We employ around 8,800 people in more than 30 different locations in the northern and western parts of Auckland. Our main sites include North Shore Hospital on the shores of Lake Pupuke in Takapuna and Waitakere Hospital in West Auckland.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinics
• Elective and acute theatre sessions
• Endoscopy sessions
• Ward management and supervising junior medical staff
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call roster for General Surgery

Qualifications

The candidate should have FRACS (or equivalent).
