Barking and Dagenham College have a very busy Estates & Facilities Team, and we are looking for an energetic and pro‑active College Caretaker to join our team.

You will join us on a full‑time, 38 hours per week, permanent basis. In return we offer a competitive salary of £27,893 - £28,657 pa inc London Weighting.

The College Caretaker role

To maintain the cleanliness, security and safety of the premises, and the security and safety of college staff, students and visitors.

Assist in the day‑to‑day operational activities of estates maintenance across all college sites.

Key Responsibilities of our College Caretaker

• To operate on a 3‑shift pattern; 06.30am‑14.30pm / 11am‑7pm / 2.30pm‑10.30pm
• Early shift is onsite at 6:30am – one hour to ready the building
