We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join a team in New Orleans, Louisiana on a short-term contract to permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who can manage both commercial and consumer accounts while maintaining a detail-oriented approach to account resolution and customer communication. The position focuses on reducing outstanding balances, supporting healthy cash flow, and ensuring timely follow-up on receivables through consistent and accurate collection practices.


Responsibilities:

• Contact commercial and consumer customers to secure payment on overdue accounts through phone, email, and other approved communication methods.

• Review aging reports and account histories to prioritize collection efforts and identify past-due balances requiring immediate attention.

• Investigate billing questions, payment discrepancies, and account issues to help move receivables toward resolution.
