Position Information

New Hanover County is looking for a part-time  Collections Assistant to join the Cape Fear Museum Department.

The Cape Fear Museum collects, preserves and interprets objects relating to the history, science, and cultures of the Lower Cape Fear. The Museum makes those objects and their interpretation available to the public through educational exhibition and programs.

The Collections Assistant will work with the Curator in a variety of tasks related to managing the museum’s permanent collection.
