**Description:**

**POSITION PURPOSE**

+ The Colleague Safety Specialist facilitates implementation of the comprehensive Trinity Health TogetherSafe program as well as regional strategies to achieve optimal patient and colleague safety outcomes.
+ Reporiting to the Director, Colleague Safety & Wellness, this individual partners with ministry leaders, colleagues and medical staff to implement and sustain safety and reliability structures, processes and behaviors. This role will use data systems in place such as THEIR (Trinity Health Employee Incident Report, VOICE), safety science, change methodology, improvement principles and creative educational approaches to achieve sustainable high reliability practices and outcomes in both patient and colleague safety domains.
