Position Purpose: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance Essential Functions and Basic Duties: Position Specific Performance Expectations: o Demonstrates advanced knowledge of imaging procedures of at least two of the modalities listed below. o Practices radiation safety and adheres to ALARA standards. o Asks female patients if they are pregnant and protects them from harmful radiation. o Performs QC in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. o Able to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations. o Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the Radiologist. o Assists with clerical duties and patient transportation when required. o Answers the telephone, directs calls, and accurately re...
