The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance Essential Functions and Basic Duties: Position Specific Performance Expectations: o Demonstrates advanced knowledge of imaging procedures of at least two of the modalities listed below. o Practices radiation safety and adheres to ALARA standards. o Asks female patients if they are pregnant and protects them from harmful radiation. o Performs QC in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. o Able to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations. o Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the Radiologist. o Assists with clerical duties and patient transportation when required. o Answers the telephone, directs calls, and accurately re...
