**Job Title: CNC Programmer**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on programming and supporting a brand-new 4-axis machining center used to machine 6x12x24 inch forgings for flight-critical helicopter components. You will translate 2D drawings into 3D models, develop CNC programs using Mastercam, design fixtures, and guide the transition from first article to production by working closely with existing shop staff.

**Responsibilities**

+ Program a 4-axis machining center to machine 6x12x24 inch forgings for flight-critical helicopter components, using a brand-new NHP 6300 machine with FANUC 31i-B Plus control, full B-axis, and a 90-tool automatic tool changer.
+ Translate 2D engineering drawings into accurate 3D models suitable for CNC machining.
+ Create, test, and optimize CNC programs for 4-axis machining using Mastercam software.
