SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The CNC Operator will operate equipment according to established procedures in a safe and quality manner. Dimensional measurements will be required during the operation of equipment to assure compliance to requirements. Adjustments to the equipment will be executed during the operation of equipment to meet established run rates and part accuracy. This involves performing First Piece Inspection and continuous Quality activities. Equipment will include Mills, Lathes, CNC’s and screw machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Implement and sustain S, Q, D, C, I activities

+ Develop, sustain and improve CNC machine tool methods and procedures

+ Assist tool selection in the development and implementation of fixtures for new product development

+ Develop standard work, tool setup sheets, and standard operations for production jobs
