The Role

Sets up and operates CNC mills per approved drawings, including tool offsets and compensation.

Reviews CAD designs, determines tolerances, and performs necessary calculations.

Verifies machine settings with test runs, ensuring strict adherence to specifications.

Monitors operations, troubleshoots issues, and replaces worn tools.

Performs additional tasks such as de-burring, tapping, and cleaning parts.

Maintains quality, safety, and production schedules, updating records and KIPS as needed.

Communicates effectively with team members and management, providing support to CNC operators.

Keeps workspaces clean and performs preventive maintenance.

The Candidate

Experienced in CNC mill setup and operation.

Skilled in G-code controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, etc.).
