**Job Title: Machinist**

**Job Description**

This role involves setting up and operating a variety of manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools to exact specifications and tolerances. The machinist fabricates new machine parts, reads and interprets technical documentation, and ensures all finished components meet strict quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders to fabricate new machine parts to required dimensions and tolerances.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand specifications, tolerances, and machining requirements.
+ Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job based on part design and machining conditions.
