**Description:**
You will be the CNC Machining Capability Project Engineer for the Machining Capability Team. Our team is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and developing external machining suppliers for complex CNC milling and turning operations.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the CNC Machining Capability Project Engineer you will be responsible for translating capability data into strategic sourcing decisions that drive cost savings, revenue protection, and market competitiveness. You will partner with Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, and Operations to ensure supplier performance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Lead technical assessments of machining suppliers, including CNC 3‑5 axis capabilities, tolerances, and material expertise.
+ Support RFQ/RFP reviews by analyzing drawings, manufacturability, cycle times, and cost drivers.
