The Certified Nursing Assistant, a mature adult, performs under the supervision and/or direction of a Registered Nurse and/or a Licensed Practical Nurse. Performs selected resident care activities to assist in safe treatment and caring for the personal needs and comfort of adult/geriatric residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. To provide necessary care to the residents of this facility in a safe caring manner; in keeping with the Mission, Vision and Values of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.

Responsibilities:

+ Assists with admission of residents, re: reception, preparation, and data collection

+ Functions as a team member in administering direct resident care and meticulous attention to personal hygiene, safety, comfort, skin care and anticipation of needs...
