Position Overview
Purpose:
Provides care for and treats patients in medical office, as directed by Physician, Advanced Clinical Provider, Registered Nurse or supervising department manager in addition to providing front office support in clinical areas as needed
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares patient for and assists with examinationsAdministers injections and medications, dresses wounds and incisions, provides accurate and consistent information to the patient using an established protocol, interprets Physician's instructions to patients, assists with emergencies and minor procedures, and performs related tasks as directedCollects patient data and maintains records of vital statistics and physiological/biological information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemCleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment, and maintains stock of supplies and medicationsConducts specified laboratory testsActs as ...
