To participate in oncology patient management in early phase clinical trials and to become familiar with early phase trial protocols and working practice within VCC, promoting unifying working practice in early phase trials between VCC trials unit and CRF at UHW and performing duties at both sites.
Conduct research within early phase oncology trials, contributing to the overall research performance of Velindre and Cardiff University, with the aim of improving the delivery of early phase oncology clinical trials and publishing work in high‑quality journals. The post is also designed to generate research proposals that can be submitted to secure funding for a higher research degree.
