Position Overview
What to Expect:
The Research Coordinator is responsible for supporting a large, multi-state study (BRITE Trial) focusing on school-based suicide prevention programming. They will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the study protocol and data collection at the school sites. Research Coordinators/Interventionists will be certified to deliver the SOS Signs of Suicide (SOS) and Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) suicide prevention programs, completing study staff trainings for both interventions at the beginning of the study and participating in ongoing training and fidelity monitoring. They will be responsible for collecting measures related to the delivery of and fidelity to the study interventions. Frequent travel to school research sites around Central and Southern Idaho to engage with schools and to deliver the SOS and YAM study interventions to 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students will be required.
