Position Overview
Job Summary: Provide direct clinical services, clinical supervision and management of inpatient/outpatients in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Care. Evaluation and treatment for patients affected by conditions related to cancer and blood disorders. Participation on the pediatric hematology/oncology psycho/social teams. Participate in research projects as part of oncology clinical research trials involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders and neurocognitive screening. Provide supervision and training for pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows, medical students, and pediatric residents consequent to clinical activities. Additional opportunity for supervising graduate students in psychology and neuropsychology. Provide occasional cross coverage for inpatient C/L services as part of the pediatric psychology service.
