About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Clinical Respiratory Physiologist to work within the IQIPS accredited paediatric Lung Function Unit. The unit is equipped with a suite of rooms dedicated to paediatric lung function testing including spirometry, whole body plethysmography, CO gas transfer measurement, exhaled nitric oxide, respiratory muscle testing (MIP, MEP, SNIP), submaximal exercise testing. We perform measurements on over 4000 children and young people per annum with a wide range of medical conditions including chronic lung disease, cystic fibrosis, asthma, neuromuscular disease, lung transplant, bone marrow transplant, and rheumatology patients. In addition to our routine clinical testing, we have an ongoing research programme.
