POSITION SUMMARY: Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist is an integrated part of the Emergency Department Team, serving as a resource for toxicology, medication safety, and pediatric dosing. ED Clinical Pharmacists assists with medication histories, monitors patientβs drug therapies and provide drug information. ED Clinical Pharmacist will respond to Codes (Code Blue/Sepsis/Stroke/ STEMI), including the preparation of needed medications. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a clinical pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
1. Completion of a general 1-year pharmacy residency, specialty residency, and/or fellowship or at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
