Position Overview
As a Clinical Pathologist the majority of your duties involve, but are not limited to, providing clients with diagnostic evaluation in the area of clinical pathology and providing necessary follow-up consultation. A high level of importance is placed on quality, timeliness, customer service, effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
In This Role:
You are responsible for gross and/or microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and preparation of pathology reports in a timely manner.You will meet caseload and turnaround expectations.You are responsible for providing telephone consultations to clients.You consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality.You will partner with, advise and assist laboratory personnel in proper specimen processing techniques and function as the pathologist on duty.You promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating i...
