Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University (ISU) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, term or tenure track teaching faculty appointment in Anesthesiology in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS) and the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC). The LVMC is a state-of-the-art teaching hospital providing specialized care for companions and production animals throughout Iowa and the surrounding states. The candidate will join an anesthesia team comprised of 4 faculty Anesthesiologists that are complemented by 6 veterinary anesthesia technicians and 2 anesthesia residents.
This Clinical or Tenure Track position in Anesthesia will consist of:
+ 60-70% Teaching: instruction in anesthesia (didactic & laboratory)
