Clinical Nurse Specialist – Advanced Kidney Care

An exciting Band 6 opportunity has arisen at St James Hospital within Renal Services in the Advanced Kidney Care CNS team.

We are looking for a motivated, forward‑thinking registered nurse with the ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job

Applicants are required to have:

• Significant post‑registration experience at Band 5 or equivalent, some of which should be within renal medicine.
• Recognised Teaching/Assessment qualification.
• Recognised Non‑medical prescriber qualification, or willingness to undertake within the first 6 months.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Evidence of multidisciplinary team working.
• The ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a team.
