Clinical Learning & Practice Lead

Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of clinical nursing professional development and continuing education in accordance with the Long-Term Care Act and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical expert/resource/consultant and provide expert knowledge and nursing practices to maintain and improve resident care delivery.
• Lead an annual strategic plan for nursing learning and development initiatives.
• Facilitate new nurse orientation, manage the nurse education program portfolio, and support performance improvement initiatives for nurses.
• Conduct annual nursing learning needs and gap analyses for nurse leadership, including training, new hire orientation, and ongoing programs, in collaboration with the Supervisor – Quality Improvement & Resident Financial Se...
