Position Term

The position term is a semester in duration and renewed based on the program's needs, satisfactory clinical evaluations and on the approval of the Track, Associate, and/or Program Director.



Roles and Responsibilities


+ Guide, evaluate, and oversee the attainment of clinical competencies for students precepted in clinical settings.

+ Prepare for and actively participate in scheduled onsite and virtual student laboratory and clinical immersion/simulations as scheduled, including orientation/faculty training for lab/clinical simulation, and check-ins with the clinical course coordinator(s).

+ Student Engagement: Conduct weekly check-ins with students in an online clinical course, using available communication through phone or virtual communication platforms.

+ Establish contact with the clinical preceptor at the beginning of the semester, prior to mid-term, and at the end of the semester, and...
