Job Summary
The Clinical Informatics Specialist leads teams and supports clinicians in the design, development, implementation and optimization of healthcare technologies (including but not limited to the EHR) in both the inpatient and ambulatory environments. The Clinical Informatics Specialist understands future workflow and business process changes impacting the nursing, physician, and ancillary clinical teams to ensure the success of the implementation and ongoing system maintenance. This role will work with staff to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education, quality outcomes and providing support in accordance with organizational goals.
