The post is based in the West London Children’s Healthcare, Haematology and Stem Cell Transplant Unit at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, which is a leading centre for blood and marrow transplantation and gene therapy in non-malignant haematological disorders. The Trust Fellowship provides exposure to all aspects of paediatric haematology and transplantation while allowing significant time for to gain experience in performing clinical procedures, audits, gain leadership experience according to the applicant’s needs. The post will be for one year, but may be extended for a further year. The fellowship is suitable for post-CCT haematology or paediatric trainees or paediatric/haematology trainees in the earlier stages of their training (who have, or near to, completing MRCPCH or equivalent), who are looking to gain expertise in paediatric haematology alongside gaining experience in a related aspect such as research, procedures or management.
