**Description**



The Clinical Ethicist works with the Regional Director and Senior Ethicist to promote the field of health care ethics through clinical ethics consultation, education, scholarship, and innovative research and scholarship. The Clinical Ethicist promotes excellence in the professional practice of clinical ethics consultation by engaging in continuous quality improvement, peer to peer feedback, and research and professional development. The Clinical Ethicist works toward the development of exemplary learning practices, particularly in the area of clinical and organizational ethics education. This position is actively engaged in bringing ethics to bear on larger health care issues that face society and the ministry.
