Support the Clinical Skills Activities Team (CAST) in delivering clinical skills within the Trust. The post holder is part of DERI, based within the Clinical Education Team, and will provide clinical skills training, support the Trust Preceptorship Multi‑Professional Programme, and offer cross‑cover to other clinical teams within DERI.

Main duties of the job

• Deliver clinical skills training (e.g. venepuncture, cannulation, IV therapies, ECG, male catheterisation, tracheostomy care, Acute Illness Management (AIM) and CSW AIM).
• Produce monthly reports on clinical skills courses, training and development and preceptorship progress.
• Manage teaching groups to ensure training delivered is equitable to all users.
