**Job Summary**

The Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) is responsible for applying their knowledge of medical terminology, risk adjustment, and coding to ensure appropriate capture of diagnoses based on coding guidelines and identify gaps and opportunities within ambulatory settings.
