Overview


The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the evaluation, planning and clinical assessment of nutritional status of the residents and participants of Loretto long-term care facilities or sites. Coordinates all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education and counseling of residents and participants in a variety of settings. Performs duties in compliance with licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. Contributing member of the interdisciplinary team in establishing and implementing the interdisciplinary care plan.

+ Advise Diet Technician/Home Health Aides regarding food service operations in the Day Center.

+ Attend daily meetings with the team and initial care planning and reassessment meetings.
