Patient Care and Safety

+ Utilizes nutrition screening tools to appropriately identify patients at nutrition risk.

+ Utilizes the Nutrition Care Process for the assessment, diagnosis, intervention, development, and monitoring and evaluation of patients.

+ Initiates nutrition assessment and nutrition care plans utilizing extensive knowledge and expertise in the Nutrition Care Process for patients with complex medical conditions, including critically ill patients and those on enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support.
