Job Description:
Under the leadership of the department director, The Westland House Dietary Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the food service department in compliance with facility policies, federal and state regulations. The Westland House Dietary Manager recruits, interviews, hires, trains, coaches, evaluates, rewards, disciplines and terminates staff as needed. The Westland House Dietary Manager verifies that all positions are scheduled, covers staff shortages, and ensures staff has completed all assigned duties. The Westland House Dietary Manager is responsible for accurate inventory, purchasing, safe receiving and storage of food and supplies per HACCP guidelines, and monitoring budgets.
