We are a collegial group of physician anesthesiologists and CRNAs who exclusively provide clinical anesthesia services at JHBMC in a mixed academic-community setting. As a member of the Johns Hopkins Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (ACCM), you will be joining the ranks of an academic department with a rich history of providing world-class clinical care, resident and fellow training, and groundbreaking anesthesia and critical care research. In addition, JHBMC is home to Maryland's only accredited regional Burn Center and is a designated Level II trauma center.
Case variety is diverse, consisting of general surgical, urologic, gynecologic, thoracic, vascular, neurologic (spine, craniotomy), orthopedic, bariatric, burn, plastic, and trauma cases. Remote anesthetizing sites include GI endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI, and TEE/cardioversion. A very limited amount of healthy pediatric (>2 years) cases are available.
