Preferred Qualifications

American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists ( ABPTS ) certification in Orthopedics, Sports, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, Clinical Electrophysiology, Oncology, or Women’s Health. Previous experience teaching in a physical therapist education program. Experience with curriculum development and assessment. Evidence of professional development activities and continuing education. Knowledge of physical therapy accreditation standards and educational best practices. Experience with clinical research or evidence-based practice initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong motivation to drive students’ clinical success through collaborative and personalized resource management.
