Ensure staff are well groomed and tidy and that all hospital information is up to date.
Receive all patients directed from the Main Lobby and A&E Services with or without appointment, ensuring accurate registration (patient demographics, preparation of forms and opening a new file).
Preserve patientsβ rights and confidentiality.
Ensure patient safety inside and outside the clinic.
Request all case notes a day ahead of the appointment date.
Collect the case notes on the appointment date at the Medical Record Library and return them all before the clinic closes.
No case note is allowed to be kept in the clinic without approval from the Head of Services.
Document all case note transactions and keep them confidential.
Maintain smooth clinic operation, keeping the clinic tidy and clean at all times.
