Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Complete deliveries and pick-ups promptly in Cranbrook and the surrounding area, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes Use a handheld device to scan the freight to document shortages and any damages, and collect signatures.Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulationsOperate vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company policiesMaintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling of goods and materialsSecure cargo properly using appropriate tie-downs, straps, or other securing devicesCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team membersProvide excellent cust...
