We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Claims & Demurrage Analyst to join our dynamic team at an oil giant. The Demurrage Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing demurrage-related activities associated with the company's oil trading operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of demurrage concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with ship owners for claims, maintain a pro-active approach and endeavor to maximize the savings by countering intelligently. Handle and calculate demurrage claim and review & improve existing system to enhance performance productivity. Work closely with trading and other teams in monitoring demurrage payables and receivables. Responsible to resolve disputes with counterparties. Provide reports on claims record to the management.
