Job Title: Civil Estimator
Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Estimator to join our team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in heavy civil construction and some experience in estimating. You will work closely with chief estimators to contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities

+ Assist two chief estimators with quantity take-offs and project summaries for bidding.

+ Prepare and manage bid packages.

+ Attend pre-bid job walk meetings and site investigations.

+ Prepare labor, equipment, and material project estimates.

+ Manage subcontractor/bid procurement and RFIs during the bid period.

+ Oversee cost controls and prepare resource-driven project schedules per client’s request.

+ Assist project managers in preparing change order requests.

+ Maintain subcontractor relations and deliver high-quality competitive bid analyses.
