:Parsons is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering (Transportation) Intern to join our Centreville office for Summer 2026. In this role, you will contribute to large-scale engineering projects and gain practical experience in areas such as highway and roadway design, bridge structures, transportation planning, traffic simulations, signal design, critical infrastructure, drainage, and traffic control during construction.
What You’ll will be doing:
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist with project calculations and design tasks
Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
