**Overview**

Kimley-Horn's Austin, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Transit team! This is not a remote position.

**Responsibilities**

+ The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
+ Various tasks may include corridor concept development, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation.
+ This role will require a high degree of multi-disciplinary coordination.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.

**Qualifications**

+ Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
+ 4+ years of transit-focused engineering experience including:
