Primary Position Purpose

SMEC is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to provide engineering design and drafting services, prepare project documentation, and deliver appropriate technical support as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering design and modelling aspects within the Pretoria Roads & Highways Function – from planning, conceptual design to detailed design and construction drawings, specifically for geometric- and stormwater design, related to roads projects .
• Develop increased design ability and quality.
• Draft technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality.
• Assist with supervising small teams (Technicians, Students, Draughtsmen, Graduates).
• Mentor Technicians, Graduate Technologists and/or Graduate Engineers ...
