**Overview**

Civil Engineer:

Bowhead is seeking a Civil Engineer to support an upcoming effort at NAWCAD in Patuxent River, MD. The Civil Engineer will support facility design and construction efforts. This role provides full lifecycle civil engineering support—from project inception through construction—while ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and mission alignment for federal infrastructure projects.





**Responsibilities**

+ Perform civil engineering design and production support for new construction and renovation projects from concept through construction
+ Develop complete construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and supporting design analyses
+ Apply expertise in both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods
+ Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to junior engineers and designers
