Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Mental Health Department, you'll provide comprehensive emotional and physical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within our inpatient setting. You'll work as part of a strong interdisciplinary team, delivering specialized, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation) specifically tailored for a mental health environment.

You'll also play a key role in triaging mental health patients in collaboration with the PSA and Charge RN, facilitating their flow through the ED, and taking the lead in Code Orange situations, including de-escalation and communicating with nursing supervisors regarding unit acuity levels.
