Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Patient Consultation: Review medical histories and interview patients regarding their symptoms, pain levels, and lifestyle habits.
- Physical Examination: Evaluate patients' posture, spine alignment, range of motion, and physical condition.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic imaging like X-rays to locate skeletal issues and rule out fractures or diseases.
- Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis: Analyze exam results to form a working medical diagnosis of the joints and nervous system.
- Spinal Adjustments: Perform manual therapy and high-velocity, low-amplitude spinal manipulations to realign joints and improve motion.
- Complementary Therapies: Utilize hot/cold compresses, massage therapy, soft tissue release, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation.
- Care Planning: Design individualized, long-term rehabilitation and pain management programs for specific recovery goals.
