Position Overview
Provides developmentally appropriate clinical care and advocacy for patients and families by applying knowledge and skill that promotes healing, prevents significant developmental disruption, and reduces psychological stress.
**Required Education and Experience**
Bachelorβs degree in Child Life, Child Development or related field.
Must obtain Certified Child Life Specialist certification within one year of employment.
Completed an internship of a minimum of 600 hours of child life clinical experience under the direct supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist.
Experience working with infants, toddlers, school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
